How do I know when I've truly forgiven someone?

Forgiveness may result in sincerely spoken words such as "I forgive you" or tender actions that fit the relationship. But more than this, forgiveness brings a kind of peace that helps you go on with life. The offense is no longer front and center in your thoughts or feelings. Your hostility, resentment and misery have made way for compassion, kindness and peace.

Also, remember that forgiveness often isn't a one-time thing. It begins with a decision, but because memories or another set of words or actions may trigger old feelings, you may need to recommit to forgiveness over and over again.

What if the person I'm forgiving doesn't change?

Getting the other person to change their actions, behavior or words isn't the point of forgiveness. In fact, the other person may never change or apologize for the offense. Think of forgiveness more about how it can change your life — by bringing you more peace, happiness, and emotional and spiritual healing.

Forgiveness takes away the power the other person continues to wield in your life. Through forgiveness, you choose to no longer define yourself as a victim. Forgiveness is done primarily for yourself, and less so for the person who wronged you.

What if I'm the one who needs forgiveness?

It may help to spend some time thinking about the offense you've committed and trying to determine the effect it has had on others. Unless it may cause more harm or distress, consider admitting the wrong you've done to those you've harmed, speaking of your sincere sorrow or regret, and specifically asking for forgiveness — without making excuses.

But if this seems unwise because it may further harm or distress, don't do it — it's not about making yourself feel better by apologizing. You don't want to add salt to a painful wound. Also, keep in mind that you can't force someone to forgive you. They will need to move to forgiveness in their own time.

In any case, we have to be willing to forgive ourselves. Holding on to resentment against yourself can be just as toxic as holding on to resentment against someone else. Recognize that poor behavior or mistakes don't make you worthless or bad.

Accept the fact that you — like everyone else — aren't perfect. Accept yourself despite your faults. Admit your mistakes. Commit to treating others with compassion, empathy and respect. And again, talking with a spiritual leader, mental health provider or trusted friend or relative may be helpful.

Forgiveness of yourself or someone else, though not easy, can transform your life. Instead of dwelling on the injustice and revenge, instead of being angry and bitter, you can move toward a life of peace, compassion, mercy, joy and kindness

How do I reach a state of forgiveness?

Forgiveness is a commitment to a process of change. It can be difficult and it can take time. Everyone moves toward forgiveness a little differently. One step is to recognize the value of forgiveness and its importance in our lives at a given time. Another is to reflect on the facts of the situation, how we've reacted, and how this combination has affected our lives, our health and our well-being. Then, as we are ready, we can actively choose to forgive the one who has offended us. In this way, we move away from our role as a victim and release the control and power the offending person and situation have had in our lives.

Forgiveness also means that we change old patterns of beliefs and actions that are driven by our bitterness. As we let go of grudges, we'll no longer define our lives by how we've been hurt, and we may even find compassion and understanding.

What happens if I can't forgive someone?

Forgiveness can be very challenging. It may be particularly hard to forgive someone who doesn't admit wrong or doesn't speak of their sorrow. Keep in mind that the key benefits of forgiveness are for you. If you find yourself stuck, it may be helpful to take some time to talk with a person you've found to be wise and compassionate, such as a spiritual leader, a mental health provider or an unbiased family member or friend.

It may also be helpful to reflect on times you've hurt others and on those who have forgiven you. As you recall how you felt, it may help you to understand the position of the person who hurt you. It can also be beneficial to pray, use guided meditation or journal. In any case, if the intention to forgive is present, forgiveness will come in its time.

Angel Light

The other day I looked out my window just to see.

Felt the warmth of the sun shining in on me.

Taking time to reflect on my day.

Only my mind knows what I have to say.

The gentle light beam guiding my thoughts here.

A new day, new minute, every second out there.

To empower myself, to be lifted to a better place.

Feeling stronger to what I may have to face.

Knowing that I can really change the outcome today.

To believe in myself and to grant this to me.

Yes and Angel stopped by to help me….what can I say!

What beautiful wings there…for me to see

A very special one today….when I most needed it.

Life reflecting back to me…taking time to look.

Some days life is like a rose and other days just a bad hit.

But read each page and every chapter of this life’s book.

I feel better just knowing I took time reflect.

Looking at my life chapters and which one I select.

Even if it is a bad one…I will rewrite it.

Thank you my special Angel…for showing me the way.

The path you walk on today is foggy.

But can I see what is in front of me?

White path of snow that is not soggy.

Looking at this very special pine tree.

Standing tall and proud as it can be.

Saying look at me, why can’t you see.

The path may be black and white.

But beyond the fog, what a sight.

Lift up your spirit and walk on.

Follow the path between the trees.

There is a new day just beyond .

No matter how much life disagrees.

Surround yourself in the light.

See all of the colors, life has to give.

Keep on walking, with all your might.

Fog is lifting and learn to forgive.

For the heart will not be so brittle.

The fog will lift, clearing this foggy day.

See what your life will whittle.

Bright and beautiful path for you today.

For the path, that was fogged in, is bright.

The heart is renewed, full of your life dreams.

The path has vibrant colors, follow the light.

The Aha Moment

We all remember the moment like it was yesterday.

That morning to be again another challenging day.

In short, it was a rough time in life our lives, all known to well.

Sitting there know you have to win the race and your eyes swell.

Then from some place in back waters of you mind.

Comes to you just gotta get up and try….win the race.

Find the will to stand up and keep going…don’t fall behind.

Voice come from within the inner soul...to lighten your face.

Deep within your inner body comes the strength you need.

To stop…to take time to win our own race…stop being a tumbleweed.

No longer to blown around and wondering about lost in the wind.

Our race is to get up and try…yes a lot falls are so well-defined.

Anger comes out…we take it out on another.

The release of stress, not so giving.

The Aha moment…just then realizing.

You can win the race…Yes my fellow brother.

Stand up after you have fallen and keep on going.

To win is to keep going …stand up each time…not being first.

We need to say positive affirmation each Morning to open the gates.

A Christmas Story Poem

The wiry older lady was a traveling down the road.

Smoke was a porin from her old car.

But she wasn’t a turning back, no she had a load.

The windows frosting over and yet so far.

Must be Angels watching over her.

Somebody must be a prayin’ is all I can say.

Someone is praying to help her there.

The snow was a howling and she was only halfway.

As she hit a snow bank and the car went out of control.

Coming to rest at the bottom of the hill.

Several miles down the road was a rancher on cattle patrol.

The lady’s car stalled and she was takin’ a chill.

Must be Angels watching over her.

Somebody is praying out there.

Storm was getting worst outside.

As the fear set in, she was all misty-eyed.

The young rancher climb out of his truck.

Following the half hidden tracks over to the bank.

For he could see a this car was drift in and stuck.

Climbing down there, opening door, Hi my name is Frank.

Must be an Angels that guided him there.

Someone was a prayin for her.

She glazed out the door and cried.

Someone was standing there.

As he helped her to his truck, she ask for her bag.

Driving back to the ranch he gave her a sip of his coffee.

On FM radio he called to his family to get warm washrag.

To warm her and bring food to eat sitting next to the Christmas tree.

Angel was looking out for you tonight.

When I saw your car flashers in the snow.

I was a prayin, who ever it was they be alright.

The twist of faith and the car light aglow.

For it was Christmas Eve and this family had a special stranger here.

The lady had no place to be, she was alone except this special night.

She reached in her bag and gave the family a card she had there.

It was her finale words and a check written out here, tonight.

She said, “ Angels were lookin out for the both us here.

She could see they were down on their luck.

I was a prayin for somebody to truly find me out there.

She could see they had it rough and down to their last buck.

There must be an Angel I can’t believe this.

Inside this card was check for all there needs.

Someone was prayin for me she said with a kiss.

Her new family said Angel bought together all our pleads.

Voices on the wind, calling out to us.

Like a star that falls from the sky.

Wash away your troubles blues!

Just Look

Somewhere in the backfield of mind, thoughts of you fly.

Today my inner soul speaks to me and I am soaring in the sky.

Like a home run hit out of the stadium to be a grand slam.

Where is that Angel of mine, can you send me a special telegram?

I feel your energy around me, specially when I start to falter.

Staying positive even when I want to so dearly to alter.

The swirling energy comes and guides me to a safer place.

Lightens my load and send me the strength I need in this footrace.

Some days it is about climbing that mountain and rappelling.

Other days it is about grabbing yourself and being self-propelling.

But you are there with me my Angel, guide me along.

Even when I forgotten how to sing that song.

When one door closes another doors opens.

If you can’t find that door that opens, just look.

For there is always a window that surely is open.

So all you need to do is just …look.

One Spiritual self with Nature

In times of stress we may turn to harmful means of comfort such as alcohol, drugs, overeating or other self-destructive behaviors. This in turn can cause us to become more depressed because we have compounded the problems we were originally seeking to escape. Often, we can become so worn down by our problems that we forget a whole world exists outside ourselves. Sometimes we lack to get the proper perspective on our problems because we have failed to connect with nature. There is a great part of our psyche that is soothed by the natural world around us and we fail to notice it because so much of it has been paved over in favor of larger cities and more office space. But city planners are starting to realize the effect a lack of natural habitat is having on our society. We are now starting to see a return to landscaping and green-space in new developments that are cropping up everywhere and there is a lot of wisdom in that.

Remember when you were young and climbed trees, played in the mud, picked flowers, played in the surf, and generally enjoyed communing with nature? Wasn't it soothing to let your mind wander as you experienced the sight, smell and texture of everything the natural world had to offer? If you could return to your juvenile carefree lifestyle you would find that a lot of the cares and worries you have now would dissipate. In order to get some relief from a stressful world, every person must take it upon themselves to seek out their own spiritual places. That is to say, a special place in nature that moves you to reconnect with your spirit or inner self.

To find such a place involves a little bit of exploring and a little bit of reliving the past. If you can, try to remember a place you experienced as a child. It could be a campsite, a playground, your own backyard, a nearby creek or swimming hole or any other place you explored as a child. You may need to ask your parents or siblings of the names of places you visited in your travels if you can't remember. If it is not possible to visit some of your childhood haunts then you need to replace them with like-minded places near you. Visit a stream, a forest grove, a hill, a lake, a mountain trail, a field, a bird habitat, a backyard garden or whatever moves you. When you go, take with you a notepad and write down some of your thoughts and feelings as you explore your surroundings. Ask yourself thought provoking questions about why the animals, the wind, the vegetation etc, behaves like it does. Meditate on the bigger questions of life. Study in great detail, the plants, insects, and life forms all around you. Make believe you are a child, experiencing all this for the first time. Concentrate on how it makes you feel. Revel in the beauty and glory of all that surrounds you. Tactually explore everything. Feel the bark, the moss, and the mud. Now, reflect on the sources of stress in your life. Ask yourself what importance they should play in your life.

When you return to your spiritual place frequently, you will automatically be reducing the importance you place on your problems. You will be making time to nurture you inner self and in so doing you will be redirecting your attention on to yourself and your loved ones. You can choose to visit your place either by yourself or with your family. If you choose to share it with your children you will be teaching them a valuable lesson on how to place importance and respect on their natural environment and more importantly, how to look inwardly to deal with stress, insecurity, strife and anger. You will be more relaxed to love and teach with patience and understanding and able to face problems with balance and good judgement. Nature has a way of centering you and clearing your mind to better equip you to deal with the true dilemma's of life and recognize the former stresses for what they are, simple inconveniences. So make plans to find yourself a spiritual place and you will deeply enrich your life.

When Angels Come

When Angels come and open windows for us.

Even when you feel that the doors are closed.

Bring in new and fresh ideas that are must.

Letting out the old and musty to be transposed.

Angels anew the that bright white light.

Sending us the tools to repair and make things right.

In our deepest times of worry giving to us an avenue.

If you allow yourself to follow and see what is new.

When Angels come, carrying gift for us.

Reach out and take hold of them and thus---

You will find that hope and faith to carry you along.

Listen to the dawn of a new day and it’s song.

If one door shuts, an Angels will open a window for you.

Windows can turn into new doors, if you allow them to.

If you find yourself closed up and feeling all of life’s blue.

Ask your Angels to come and open windows for clues.

When Angels come, be ready and open to what is new.

Life’s roadblocks turn into beautiful highways.

Changing negatives into positives, all over-due.

Let the Angels windows be open for you always.

5 Step Process of Manifesting that I have found and use

I have found and Used these 5-Step Process of Manifestation

The process of manifestation is conceptually extremely simple, consisting of the following five steps: Know, Ask, Experience, Action and Gratitude.

1) Know your desire.
2) Ask for your desire.
3) Experience your desire.
4) Action towards your desire.
5) Gratitude for your desire.

Once learned, you will apply these steps naturally in your ongoing existence, and you will become create of your own reality, shaping your world in precise accordance with your desires.

Step 1: Know your desire

Knowing what you really do want is an extremely important first step in the process of manifesting a desire. Before proceeding therefore take as much time as you need to contemplate your desire, and if necessary meditate on your desire or ask for guidance.
Consider in detail as to what the object of your desire will really bring to you. How will it really benefit you? How will it make you happy and enhance your reality? And most importantly how will it help you towards arriving at where you really need to be?

Step 2: Ask for your desire.

“I now have a new truck. My new truck is green in color, has four doors and a CD player”, I am really enjoying my new truck”. You may also add any other features you desire but keep the list to the point. Any lack of faith will have a very negative effect on attracting the object of your wishes into your physical experiential reality by sending out vibrations that say you do not believe the object of your desire will manifest into your reality, in which case it will be granted and will not manifest. You have now asked and it has already been given. All you need to do now is to allow your wish to appear within your personal, physical awareness and reality.

Step 3: Experience your desire.

Experiencing is an extremely important step towards allowing and therefore receiving the object of your desire into your physical reality. In order to experience what you have asked for you must allow it to manifest into your physical reality by The Law of Attraction, and that means bringing your Energy vibration into harmony with the desires you have already asked for and have been given.

Visualization utilizing all the sense being a very powerful way of experiencing your desires and bringing your Energy into vibrational harmony with your desires.While playing this script in your Mind feel all of the emotions involved as intensely as possible that are associated with physically experiencing your desires now.

Now of The Universe and your inner reality, and that all that you have to do is to receive the object of your desires into your own personal reality.

Step 4: Action towards your desires.

Although the Universe, The Source, Your Highest power will deliver into your physical reality anything that you desire, wish and ask for, it will empower the process considerably if your also take your own steps in the direction of your desires. For example you wish to manifest a new home, you should take positive actions to physically go out and look for one. In the case of your new house, the very act of physically going out and looking for the house of your desires will not only project the positive Energy of intent, but will also very considerably and favorably influence other emotions such as excitement, all of which will add to the net positive effect on the positive Energy you are harmonizing towards realizing your desires. As soon as you know your desire, have asked for it, and are experiencing it, you must then take steps towards it and allow the Universe to manifest your desire into your physical experiential reality in ways The Universe will take care of.

Step 5: Gratitude for your desire.

Gratitude is another extremely important emotional Energy that you really must project during the course of manifesting your desires. Never, take anything at all for granted. Always feel deeply grateful for everything that happens in your reality, regardless of whether you consciously attracted it or whether you perceive it to be positive or negative. . The Universe is infinitely abundant and enjoys infinite expansion and growth. Never be ashamed, hesitant or unhappy about creation; create anything and everything you desire with great Joy, Love and Gratitude.

Angels are different from Guides......

Angels are different from guides in that they have not lived an Earth time existence; angels are of the stars and heavens, guides are of the Earth. They are divine beings who have not experienced the Earth plane in a human body. They do not have karma or evolutionary issues to work out from having lived on Earth. Angels are celestial beings of a higher vibrational level than guides.

From nature angels and angelic messengers, to your own personal guardian angel, there are many different kinds of angels and each serve a specific function in your life. A nature angel is guardian or protector of a particular area on Earth such as a mountain. Archangels such as Michael with his sword of truth, serve as guardians for the entire planet. Messenger angels are angels that sometimes take on human form for short periods to give you a message, offer help in times of danger or teach you an important lesson. A guardian angel is your personal protector that is looking over you always. Your guardian is a very special kind of angel that is with you from the moment you are born to help you move towards the light.

Angels appear in different forms. Though it seems to be a rare occurrence, the form that most people associate with angels is the traditional church angels with wings. More common however, are angels appearing in human form. These angels appear when needed and then sometimes mysteriously disappear. They take a form which is comforting and pleasing to the individual to whom they appear. They appear as both male and female, young and old, all different races, well dressed and shabbily dressed - no matter what form - they offer guidance and help in a non-intrusive way.

How can you recognise an angel?Though the numbers of occurrences of angelic visitations is growing rapidly, most angels aren’t seen but are felt. There are different ways to tell if you are in the presence of an angel. Often the pure scent of flowers accompanies their presence. Sometimes an angel will announce its presence with a slight breeze even if all the windows are closed. The breeze is the flutter of angel wings. Sometimes you’ll hear the faint sound of bells or chimes or trumpets. I believe that the reason for the sound is that when angels break from their dimension into ours there is an accompanying sound. Sometimes an angelic presence is seen as a flash of light but the most common way to tell if you are in the presence of angels is by the warm wave of love that washes over you. If you feel an angel is standing behind you, it most likely is.

How can you ‘call’ angels into your life?To call angels into your life, simply ask! Angels respond to prayers and thoughts of love. They are only a whisper away. The more you think about angels, the more you call them into your life. Some people find it helpful to have pictures or statues of angels within their home as this assists them to focus on angels. Where intention goes energy flows. As you put your attention on angels they will begin to appear in your life.

From Archangels to your personal guardian angels, right now angels are bridging our physical reality with their pure spiritual energy. The time is right. For within our planetary collective consciousness, we have put out the ‘call’ and the angels have answered in droves. Like a leaf falling softly on the still pool of our consciousness we will recognise their presence. As you trust and open your heart to them, they will pour out their blessings on you. Angels are real! They are a doorway to the divine within yourself. Angels have been waiting for us to be ready and now is the time. Angels are beginning to manifest for humanity. Expect a miracle. Expect an angel.

Angels comes to you.................

An Angels can kiss your tears away
Today when you feel down and was sad,
I know you are not feeling quite yourself,
When your day had been so bad.
Then you felt a warmth brush by you
That quickly dried your tears….
A gentle, kind, and loving touch
That seemed to hold you so dear and near.
The warmth and kindness filled your heart
and the day seemed brighter, too...
I guess that's just the way you will feel
when an Angels comes and comforts you!
