My Credential's to answer your question is as follows... I have trained dogs for obedience for years, I am also a CGC Evaluator for the AKC Association, I also have an advance cert. in training Police, Service, Drug, Search & Rescue/Cadavor dogs.  I have 2 working dogs with me and training a 7 month old retriever now for Service work.  I am also in the mist of creating a Training Center for disabled people to aquire and train thier own service dog for there own disablity... Service dogs are used for all sorts of disabilities and illness's. I personally use mine for a panic disorder I have had since I was a teen. Other's use them for Seizer detection, depression, hearing, seeing, cancer, panic disorders and so much more... we are now just learning how valuable theses Angels are to our lives. I am also a Pet Psychic who loves talking with your pet and very good at locating your pet.
