Do you look at the ingredients of your pet's food?
If the first ingredient is a bi-product, an example of this is chicken-bi-product. Your killing your pet with their food. An excellent pet food has no bi-products in the ingredients.
What is a bi-product - it is all the left overs of the animal, for instance chicken they grind beaks, feathers, intestines, feet, ect. to make the food. Do you really want your animal eating this??? NO
What you want to look for is a food with NO BI-PRODUCTS in the ingredients. When you have the chicken, they only use the meat of the chicken and nothing else.
You also want to make sure it has the proper vitamins for your pet, their fur coats and digestive system, some of these are Vitamins E, B 12, B 6, Calcium, A, Zinc, Folic Acid. Fiber and a good oil is also essential.
When you have all these ingredients in your pets food, it causes them to go to the bathroom less, and all the food they are eating is getting totally absorbed into their systems. Which is why they go to the bathroom less often, the body is taking in only what it needs which then what is left over is discarded by the body.
Now if your worried about the price of the food, yes it will cost you a bit more but you will save in the long run.
WHY? Because you are feeding your pet less amounts. They don't need the large amounts because the better ingredient food as all they need in a smaller amount so in fact you are actually spending less money on your food.
Also remember your animal will need less food in the hotter days of the season for they are not moving as much as they do in the colder weather and using extra energy to keep warm. Always make sure you pet has the plenty of water.
I hope this helps you with your pet and they live a long, healthy, loving life.
