Make Anger Work For You Instead Of Against You
Recently I have taken a number of calls where the person is so angry, it has been near impossible to either read for them or reason with them, or get them to see that what is happening to them, although it is not necessarily their fault, is not being made easier or better by their anger because it is stopping them from moving forward or getting what they want.
Directing your anger towards everyone and everything is not actually helping you deal with anything, and will more than likely alienate people away from you rather than turn them towards you, and it certainly will put up obstacles for anyone who wants to help you move forward and overcome that which has made you angry in the first place.
Anger far from being a bad emotion can be turned into a good emotion, it is a very powerful tool when used properly and moved in the right direction.
Anger can spur you on to set your personal boundaries, so if the anger has been caused by someone doing something to you that has caused you to feel hurt and resentful, it will have less chance of happening to you again either by the same person or by someone different.
Anger can be used to give you strength to overcome an illness by turning the anger into determination to become as healthy as you can and then some.
Anger is your emotion, it belongs to you, so recognise it, embrace it and make it work for you instead of against you.
