THE OLDER WOMAN AND YOUNGER MAN LOVE RELATIONSHIP
Photobucket

As women become more fit, do their yoga and keep attractive longer, it seems less strange these days to see a younger man with an older woman.  As long as there is visual sight, there will be physical attraction from one person to the other.  Once the physical attraction is manifested, the openess to learn about the core of each other's personality causes the spiritual bonding to lead to time invested.

Love between the younger partner/older partner seems to happen more in personal encounters then dating sites.   I have been told by my reading clients, dry age numbers seem to matter more on the internet sites, where pheromones and a twinkle in the eye are not physically shared.. Men going through mid life crisis, struggling with their age identity, seem also not to be fans of a female partner older then themselves.

MY HUSBAND IS OVER 10 YRS YOUNGER THEN MYSELF

Having a happy marriage with a man over 10 years younger then myself for 7 yrs, after living together 2 yrs,  I write this article with some experiece.  Adrienne, my radio show co host, has been happily married 13 yrs to a younger man.  We both agree from experiece, the question you need to ask your self most, no matter how much older you are then your younger man is: what are your priorities for each other?

  • can you trust?
  • is it importat you have the same friends?
  • can you give each oher space to be with each others generation at times with out tagging along?
  • what if the older woman's had her kids and the youger man still has none?
  • Can you share space with out youthful make up on?
  • Can you handle saying your age differences out loud in public places like your bank or tax person?
  • in dating situations, can you just relax?

OUR RADIO SHOW WILL DISCUSS THIS TODAY

All this will be discussed on our radio show this morning with co host, Adrienne Austin.   Here are some of the things that we will discuss:

SELF SABOTAGING A BEAUTIFUL YOUNGER PARTNER RELATIONSHIP:

·   Comparing your self to every younger person your younger partner speaks to

·  Imagining that people on the streets, the cashier counter lady, is comparing your age with quick looks

·  Asking too may times if you are attractive

·  Despairing that you do to have friends in common

2 KINDS OF  YOUNGER MAN RELATIONSHIPS

1}  There is the kind of younger man that thrills on making an older woman insecure by criticizing her body and making her jealous by flirting with younger women before her.  Often, she will give money, and be his mother figure.

2}  There is the kind of fresh dynamic of a younger man that is free spirited and can  share in chores, and share intellect and cuddling with out fear with his older woman.

It takes a woman with Brass Ovaries, and courage to know she is beautiful and strong despite every year of her age that will be appealing ad beautiful to her younger partner

It will prove to be interesting. The problem I feel many older women encounter is the stereotype of them, from many times the porn that a lot of young men watch. It is wise to really get to know the character of a young man and make sure there is respect and genuine time to get to know him.
even though they are younger, some young men are still capable of taking advantage and worse.

Having been married to a man 30 years who is 13 years my junior I can honestly say that it worked for me.  He is the love of my life and I think that age is just a state of mind.  Thanks for sharing this with us as it is a great blog and gives us food for thought.

I have been searching for Older Women, Younger Man support on the web.  I am 53 and my partner is 27.   We met 5 years ago on Maui and never intended to fall in love.   We care so very deeply about each other, but the issue of our age difference and the stigma society attaches to us everywhere we go, makes it so difficult to experience ourselves in public and with others as we truly feel and enjoy in pulic.  We share so many wonderful times together and spend time with some of our mutual friends, but not comfortable with his family or mine because of the shock of it all.  Even as we both age, me especially, he would be there for me.  I have two grown children and he doesn't want children at this point in his life and not in his future.   The time we have together is precious and could have for a long time.   Do we need to give it up?   Am I selfish for not sending him on his way, even though it would be so painful for either one of us?   Mahalo nui loa (thanking you in love).

Margaret
