Poem Patchwork Life
Satin dreams,
Cotton blue skies,
Denim hopes,
In blue cashmere eyes,
Foundations,
Quilted and sewn,
Stitched in a small frame...
"No Place Like Home"
Rayon love,
Soft and serene,
Patchwork life,
Do you know what I mean?
Complicated,
Sewn of all different threads,
Tossing and turning,
On that down feather bed...
Satin dreams,
Light and so fine,
Making love,
To our own design.
What we envision,
Is a life of our making,
What it's sewn of,
Is ours... it's breath taking.
Patchwork quilt,
Milled from our soul,
Given life,
By our dreams and our goals.
Blankets woven,
Unique in design,
Yours made of denim,
Mine satin, and refined.
We are creators,
We chose who we'd be,
Together we're a quilt,
Of unique individuality.
So may your threads,
Flow and unite,
For the love,
Dreams of your life.
May you find solace,
In the palette of color,
Write your own chapter,
Love one another.
Build on those satin dreams!
