Tempting Fast Food

There is something about the allure of fast food. You can drive up to a window pay and drive away with a filling meal. The ease of getting home and opening up a bag and calling it dinner can be appealing. My husband and kids have a stomach made of iron. They seem to enjoy and tolerate the fast foods so well.  For some reason I do not, and always seem to end up with a tummyache. I don't even wish to know what is in it or how it is made. I was already to cook tonight as usual. Almost everynight cooking is on my agenda. You are sure to always find homecooking at my house.  Tonight my son was telling me how he was having a craving. Thinking this could be a meal for the weekend, I blabbed my big mouth when my husband called. Though I was merely looking for a softer option of the food, as my son has braces in his mouth and can not eat hard foods. My husband being the fast food lover he is was so eager to hit the drive through, before I could get the words cooking fish, pasta and green beans tonight. Needless to say the kids are all excited, while my tummy is already starting to give signs it would prefer something else instead. At least this is not a daily meal option at my house, and only an occasional treat. It is nice to get a break from cooking sometimes; even though I would prefer dinner out at a fine restaurant with a glass of wine.

It is understandable why your stomach doesn't agree with fast foods. There is generally so much grease in it and if you normally eat home cooked meals, this will send your stomach for the hills with you following very close behind it.

that is why we need to eat more grounding foods. The fast foods are generally not as good for you but they are coming out with  getting food out that is better for you to.So when that comes out which it is starting to that is a plus.

Well, ladies, I just could not eat it. They didn't get the order right anyway. My crew was happy though.

When you're used to cooking meals that are, for the most part, balanced, our bodies adjust to getting those kinds of foods...when we do the Sonic, KFC, Long John Silver's, whataburger, etc... the influx of not only claories, but the oil and grease they use, the HUGE ingestion of carbs, fats, sodium, and eveything else that tastes so darn good when we eat those burgers, chicken, just upset the natural balance in our digestive system.  Doesn't matter if you're at your ideal weight, underweight or overweight; if you put into your bodies in one helping what can be easily digested over time, we end up with an enormous case of the BG's.
Notice the paradox, here?  what tastes so dag gum delicious is not very good for us.  But I digress.
Ya wanna dance, ya gotta pay the piper......
here's $10.00...I'll have the  double jalapeno burger w/mayo, tator tots, and iced tea.....
Over the lips through the gums, look out stomach here it comes!!!  Pass the TUMS, please!
I do agree, give me a nice relaxed meal with a glass of good wine....I'm there!  Of course, I'd start out with a grey goose martini, 4 olives, shaken, not stirred, straight up and make it dirty!
That's my story and I'm stickin' to it!

let's take another twist on this.....I ususally do not like buying fast food...but if things get a little backed up, I buy me a 1/4 pounder with cheese from McDonald's... and voila!!! things start movinging freely.... works better than prunes!
