Boundaries

How to keep healthy boundaries in your relationships

Why do people find it necessary to........

incessantly post the same post repeatedly on the same day? So many great posts become almost annoying losing their message when every time you go to look at the blogs the SAME post has yet again been RE-POSTED ??? What on earth is anyone hoping to gain by this annoying habit? I think it's kind of rude myself :-)

This is not posted to offend, simply to state my own personal opinion of the incessant postings of the SAME posts...

I do know the reason but I was being facetious ;-)
In an attempt to be polite :-) Most people would never admit their true motivations Joan

I have noticed that as well.  And I think I also know the reason.  Sad.

Welcome back, I have missed your blogs!

Dear Joan:

I think occasional repetition is okay but day after day is overkill in my opinion.  I find it hard to come up with original thought each day and I will post articles I find on the internet that are of some value but I don't repost for it just seems unnecessary.

Hey Dr Daragh,
I was in Wicklow, tour of Avalon, Avoca and Wicklow town including the jail which was amazing and I stayed in the Arklow Bay Hotel. Wicklow as well as Dublin was lovely in the spring, I go back in October for my moms 80th birthday.Dont't get me wrong There are some great articles posted but repeating them 4 or 5 times a day just seems rude to me...

Joan you ask why repetitious cycling of a blog.
In my opinion, A) Looking for attention for either building business or because so many people post astrology and constant reminder banners of lowering prices or being on, others get lost in the shuffle and move through the front page quickly.
B)Have a need to try to stir controversy on topics that "they" find interesting or went to a "seminar" and feel the need to shout it from the roof tops on some level.
C)In my opinion, I do not think resurfacing a blog from time to time is being to "overly".

I never look more than 2 pages to see what is new on blog topics, so I think many like to be in the first pages. It is just blog etiquette to not repost all day.

I love to read some of these blogs and I do not think it is rude to re-post a blog a few times is acceptable and fine in fact it makes you read that interesting article again and sometimes I need to look at an article a second time or even third time to grasp its message :-)
So re-posting is acceptable and not rude in my opinion, but several times a day is just plain rude in my humble :-0
Some may not share that opinion, some may but such is life :-)
