Boundaries

How to keep healthy boundaries in your relationships

The Written Word....

can be taken many ways and because it is written down it can be mis-intrepeted when it is being read. We are missing the tone and inflection of the spoken word and even on the phone we can miss out on physical cues that would be added when the conversation is in person....but at least one can hear the tone of the words when on the phone,,

We may all be guilty of misreading the words or the intentions of others when they post in these blogs...

This is so true Joan.  We can misinterpret and it can cause pain where none was intended.  We all are hasty sometimes when we respond and our words come out wrong.  I have been guilty of that myself for my brain works faster than my old fingers.  I will accidentally leave out words which changes the context of what I write or try to convey.  I think we should bear in mind that we are human beings and we sometimes make errors in judgment and in what we say.  As I have said before, kindness matters, and we should leave the anger behind and forgive easily.  Harboring anger festers in soul and it does no one any good.  Peace be with you Joan for you are always someone we can rely on to tell us the truth even when we don't always like it.

Sometimes we can come across in ways that are not intended and that may not be what was intended when the blog was written or when we hit the submit button

I enjoy reading the blogs and have learned so much from them, from seeing things in a different way to learning about new things that I would never have thought about had I not seen an insightful blog written thoughtfully about it,
