Energy of the Week

Willingness

How This Energy Affects You In Your Personal Life
You have to be willing to do anything in order to see what the options are in your life.  People who are too "choosy" about what they do before they even have an opportunity to see what they can learn from it sometimes miss the boat!  If you are one of these people, take a look at how flexible you are and how much you are willing to try new things.  By going by your true feelings rather than your fears or preconceived notions about what you will get out of an opportunity that is presented to you, you may find that there is a very valuable lesson you needed to learn or a stepping-stone to the next level in your spiritual growth.

How This Energy Affects You In Your Business Life
When people see that you are willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done, you will always have tremendous opportunity to move ahead in your career.  If someone asks you for help and you say, "That's not my job!" - you will never be asked again.  You will never know the ramifications of what you said.  You may have missed the opportunity of a lifetime by being inflexible and not willing to be of service beyond your normal job description.  People who are willing to go out of their way to help others to help themselves always find rewards.  This does not mean you are not being loyal to yourself.  There is a difference between being true to yourself first and expanding your availability to be of service.

How This Energy Affects You In Your Social Life
How willing are you to make yourself available when others around you are asking for help in the social environment?  Do you put them off or are you flexible with your timing?  The key here is to discern whether they really need help or whether they are just asking you to cater to their whims.  If it is the latter, just politely ask them if they really need help or if they just want you to be with them or do it for them.  Don't get caught in the trap of doing things for others what they can do for themselves.  But don't just turn them down for your own personal convenience.  Allow yourself to be open and available for others, especially the ones you admire and respect.
