Your Part

Your Role In a Spiritual advisor Reading/Psychic Reading

Getting a good reading involves more than choosing the right Spiritual Advisor; you must also be ready to be read! It's a synergistic and co-created endeavor. Once you feel comfortable with a spiritual counselor and have decided to pursue a reading, it's time to prepare yourself in order to make the most of the experience.

First, ask yourself why you're pursuing the reading:

• Do you just want to hear what you want to hear?

• Are you ready to face the truth, and to take action?

• Are you ready to be honest with yourself and take responsibility?

Often clients will seek out advisor after advisor just waiting and hoping to find one who will tell them:

• He is your soul mate.
• They love you.
• They will be back.

These folks are referred to as “psychic junkies”. They only want a reader to tell them what they want to hear. Then there's also those "junkies" who use readers and advisors and exploit their gifts and/or call them continuously instead of using a reading as a tool to guide them - WHICH IS WHAT THEY ARE FOR.

It’s an addiction just like any other, and I have my fill of them every day. The client has already made up their mind about how things have to be. They are not truly open to hearing what the reader brings through. Make sure you're ready and willing to hear what is communicated. It doesn't mean you have to accept what you hear, but make sure you're really open to listening to all the possibilities.

On a similar note, holding back information to "test" your spiritual advisor generally backfires. If you can't take a leap of faith after you've gone through a careful selection process in choosing the Spiritual advisor, it's unlikely you'll be open enough to get much out of the reading. The more open you are, the more detailed and specific the reading will tend to be. This doesn't mean you have to feed the Spiritual advisor all the answers, it just means communicating what your concern is and being open to being read. With this in mind, approach the reading process with clear goals in terms of what you want to explore, and what you plan to do with the information you receive.
• Are the questions you're asking really reflective of what you want to know?
• It helps to write your questions down.
• Ask yourself how your questions fit into the big picture and larger life goals.
It's wise to ask your most important questions first, so you're sure not to run out of time.
