Why pay a psychic reader for a reading?
Why Should A "Reader" Get Paid for a Reading?
So
you want a free psychic reading? Ok, well I want my car fixed for free,
and if you tell me where I can find a mechanic that will go about doing
this for me and I will give you a free psychic reading on the spot!
Seriously though, I have heard countless comments from people over the
years regarding the idea of paying for a psychic reading. Most people
are aware enough to understand that a full time psychic has to make a
living just like the rest of the world. They understand that it takes
incredible amounts of energy to focus and connect with their clients.
This article is for the rest of the people that have this opinion that
if the "gift" is God given, it should be given away free.
Would
you ask a gifted singer to sing for free? How about a gifted writer to
write books for free or a gifted performer perform for free? I don't
see many people going to a 5 star restaurant and asking the gifted chef
for a free meal or a gifted designer giving away free dresses. I think
you can see the point I am trying to make.
In a perfect world I
am sure most psychics that are genuine and real would love to help
people for free and many do devote a part of their time to giving back
in some way. I personally have spent countless hours writing numerous
articles with tons of free advice and suggestions and information
geared towards helping people. I am sure most of us would love to sit
on a telephone for hours at a time and give free psychic readings or
sit across a table all day and read person after person for free (and
some of us have done this). The only problem is this is not a perfect
world and to live in it requires us all to make money to buy
necessities like food and clothing and shelter.
I can't speak
for other psychics out there, but I personally don't mind answering a
question to give someone an idea of my abilities, I encourage that. It
is like going to the store and getting samples at the bakery
department. You taste it and if you like it you buy it, if you don't
you try something else, but you don't sit there and eat the full tray
of samples leaving nothing for the next person do you?
I can
understand and personally relate to the fact that most of us have a set
income we live by daily. We only have so much money to spend and we
decide each day what is worth spending our hard earned money on. I also
know from experience that I tend to value and appreciate something I
have saved up for and looked forward to. I know that I appreciate it.
The
next time you ask for and expect a free psychic reading, stop and ask
yourself how you would like it if someone asked you to work for free?
Ask yourself how you would feel if someone not only asked you to
volunteer your time but expected it of you and said you should just
because you are gifted enough to do the job? Now take that one request
and multiply it by many each day? Chances are you would say plain and
simply no.
