Find a hobby
Ok - Spiritual enlightenment here taking over - In those times of stress and confusion, don't get angry with others - get yourself a hobby or craft - Take up something you'd always wanted to try and do - Or do something you already enjoy - Something that makes you happy, content, and centered/grounded.
Sing.
Play music.
I asy those 2 first because songs/music can actually change a person's behavior and emotional tone. In times of stress, try playing soft soothing music - not sappy-love songs that make you cry.......... Try African tribal drumming, Incan beats, or even the monks. Watch how your mood can chage.
You could also take time to read or finish reading a book or article you've wanted to - Or swim, exercise, take long walks on a serene path of trees and nature, draw or paint, mess around with clay and make models, or just take a warm, soothing spiritual bath. I actually doodle on the computer making up kids mazes (no kidding - I'm putting things together to get a book out for them). But no matter what you choose to do, do it with the intention of slowing down and taking a breath, and letting your inner self - your "Lower self", talk with you spiritually.
These are things you can actually do for yourself that will alter your mood, enhancing your emotional side for the better. Sometiems we have to "walk away" from stress in order to deal with it correctly and "sanely", making wise decisions afterwards.
Sometimes taking care of our physical side helps the emotional side of our souls.
So, go for it!
Take time for you.

It'll make ya feel good inside.
