Shortbread Cookies
1 cup butter softened
1/2 cup 10X sugar
1 1/2 cups flour sifted
Cream the butter and 10X sugar together till smooth and creamy. Slowly add the flour. Refrigerate till stiff.
Once it is cool enough, make dough into 1" balls and place on cookie sheet. Make a thumb print in the middle and add I small spoonful of seedless raspberry preserves or pecans or whatever you want in the center. bake at 350 degrees for 9 minutes. Cool on baker's rack and enjoy!
I have had this recipe for 25 years and has been a family favorite!
