Can someone tell me what all the hype is when Mercury goes retrograde?  Yes, it deals with communication...technical, verbal, telephonic, etc..all get screwed up.  It is also a time when we need to heed what the retrograde means.  If planets travel backwards, then it's like an auto-reverse.  Think of it this way... If we need to clarify and clean up ..then DO IT!!  Clean up that miscommunication between whomever....finish what you set out to do so you can start all over again. Mercury will go direct November 2, 2007 BUT always give it a few more days to settle down.

Everyone gets jervous and nerky, on edge and we get a sense of foreboding when planets retrograde; especially when your ruling planet is the one retrograding.

Let's take a look at the other planets, and give them their due and what to look out for when they retrograde...........

Mars:  ruler of sexuality...did you know most pregnant women deliver during a Mars retrograde? On average most pregnant women's water breaks and causes prolonged labor (OH Happy Day!!!...haven't we suffered enough???) It's best not to have surgery of any kind during a Mars retrograde...you'll have more complications post operatively. And your libido???  In the tank .....you.feel less amorous period till it goes direct. .November 15, 2007..It lasts 6 weeks and goes direct January 30, 2008

Venus...ah, the planet of love.......when Venus retrogrades you have the tendency to lose your possessions...so keep your keys, valuables, important papers, etc, under lock and key when Venus rolls into town..or retrograde if you will!!

Jupiter: the planet ruling higher learning and good fortune.  Most people will find they cannot study as well; and yes, I'll even say it....FLUNK a test during this retrograde.  You find money slips through your fingers and you have the potential to lose your money.  And if you're an athlete...you've hit the trifecta...sports injuries increase significantly when Jupiter goes retrograde.

Saturn:....the ruler of karma...both good and bad.  Remember the saying, "what goes around, comes around?"  During a Saturn retrograde whatever bad karma you've inflicted ...it's payback for you!!!  AND if you've been a good karma child, it'll ask you to repeat that behavior (remember, paybacks!).  Also, Saturn rules structure; so if you're a typical Capricorn (PICK ME); whatever structure you crave and need, flies right out the window and control...FORGET IT!!! Last minute plans will take priority.

Uranus:  the ruling planet of reasoning and logic...Let's put it this way...EVERYTHING goes looney tunes during this retrograde.  You become quite unreasonable and demanding.  The rebellious personality takes front row seat here and you find yourself being a little more daring than any other time.

Neptune:  the  planet of glamour and vanity......try not to get new hairdo's or try new make-up, or anything to do with your looks during this retrograde...you'll live to regret it!  Enrolling in school or classes for self-improvement will be delayed too.  Hypochondria and "blue flu" will surface here while Neptune is retrograde. 

Pluto:  the power planet............obsession and crime increase during a Pluto retrograde.  Physical and emotional power goes right in the toilet now.  Emotions are intensified. This Planet is about all that is secret and undercover, that which is hidden from view. This the story of good vs. evil. If you've got a secret...watch out!!! It'll come out!

Neptune, Pluto, and Uranus's retrogrades last 6-7 months every year.

Chiron: the ruling planet of health and wellness...........when this little planet goes retrograde prepare yourself for flare-ups of all kinds.  If you have a bad back, you'll have a real pain in the butt...LOL. But seriously, more illnesses surface.  If you suffer from bouts of depression, look to see if Chiron is retrograde.  For those of us who suffer from PMS, this is not a good time..and I don't know about you, but I can either cry on you or kill you when I'm PMS'ing!!!

.....Actions ruled by the planets will need to be repeated when in retrograde. So, if you make plans, be prepared to do it twice. 

We only give power to what we choose..if we choose to let retrogrades control us, it will wreak havoc on you.  If we prepare and take caution, we come through it relatively unscathed.
