There is a beautiful prayer that I have used which a healer gave to me a long time ago for how to let go in a turbulent relationship situation or one which lacks closure though there has been a break. It could probably also be used where one is torn what to do in a love where you feel irresistably drawn and connected to a person but are finding you are not accepting of them as they are or the level of what they have to offer or can give.

The prayer is to visualize holding the hand of the one that you love, asking both of your guardian angels to put there hands over the two of yours sending you their love and healing. The you ask or pray for healing to take place, and that if it is in both of your best interests to be reconnected or arguments resolved that the healing needed to make that happen come into the relationship and the two people involved. You also ask that if it isn't in both of your highest interests for that to happen (reconnection or resolution) that the healing comes in which is needed to help you let go and move on.

It is often so hard to let go in a relationship if we are hanging on and not getting closure. It impedes the mourning process and the ability to move on or heal. It is sometimes not always clear if the right thing to do is to completely let go or to try to heal a situation and learn something more. But excessive worrying and obsessing can sometimes complicate the picture, particularly if you are not reaching out and simply waiting for the other to come to you because you are afraid. If you have not the courage to reach out and express what you feel and need afraid to smother the other person or be vulnerable and possibly hurt, sometimes surrendering is the only option left to take. Focus on your heart with love and feel it radiating out, no expectations, no control, your only intention to keep your heart open and loving... towards yourself as well. Is not always easy to be in those moments of peace, acceptance and love, but so precious when you can take a break from trying or wishing what you want will happen to focus on the love within...
