Clock Watcher

Does the watch upon your wrist own you or your life?  Do you look at the numbers of the digital clock change and feel like you must hurry?  Tick tock, tick tock...does it feel as if time is slipping away from you?  Even now, I just bet you have glanced at the time at least once--wondering how much longer til you have to get the kids ready, leave for work, til lunchtime, or your next meeting.  Whatever the case may be keep this in mind...

You are meant to have breaths of delights in your life--not be a slave to a band of numbers upon your wrist or flashing neon numbers on your desk.  For just one hour today, pay no attention to "tick tock".  Banish all thoughts of time from your mind and your lips.  Watch your mind slow to a place of rest and tanquility--a place where new thoughts & ideas are born.

Practicing what I teach...

I am banishing my timepiece, ignoring the flashing numbers, and will not watch the clock today.   I will be available to take your calls throughout the day and evening--as I am guided to sign on, so it will be.  No clockwatcher within me!

I look forward to sharing with you today...

Mel, I gave up wearing a watch years ago. I always figured I was in the right place at the right time. I don't own an alarm clock, but always manage to wake up when necessary. When I DO glance at the clock now, it's usually a number sequence that has 7 or 11 in it...the Angel's way, I believe, of saying "Thanks for trusting us"....

Don't panic, you'll see. You will be exactly where you are supposed to be :-)

Dear Mel:
I agree with AZ and I don't wear a watch because they do not work for me!  All the better however for I really stopped being a clockwatcher years ago and I feel much more entuned now.  I think watching the clock puts so much stress on you.  After you get my age if you need to get somewhere you just go and forget about the hassle of deadlines.  I love that.

Thanks for stopping by and posting!

I am unable to wear a watch--for some reason a watch 'stops' when on my wrist!  Always been like that, regardless of brand.  Apparently that is a sign that I am not to wear one.

When I was active duty military for all those years, naturally I had to watch the clock--easy for a Virgo like me to do! :)

But now, my profession allows me the freedom to disregard clocks & watches...but then again, "yesterday" did get away from me!  LOL

Have a blessed weekend! :)
